Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for effectively handling incoming sales enquiry calls for our extensive range of meeting and events venues across the Estate, converting enquiries from initial stages through to contract, followed by the accurate planning, communication and handover of client requirements to the Operational team.

You will have a passion to deliver exceptional results, exceed targets whilst ensuring our customers needs are met. You will be required to sell to customers in line with our selling strategies and guidelines, understanding our clients full requirements and identifying future business opportunities., whilst creating memorable events for them.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience working in a hotel, hospitality or events industry with previous experience in a sales environment. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate initiative are fundamental. Knowledge of a Reservation system such as Delphi and experience in call handling are also required. In addition, excellent customer service skills are essential.

Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential.

Due to the nature of the business some weekend and evening work may be required.
