We are looking for a Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team at the Goodwood Hotel.

Under the guidance of the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for assigning and supervising the activities of Room Attendants and Public Area Cleaners to ensure clean, orderly, attractive and well maintained guest rooms, corridors, fire-exits, stairways and service areas on assigned areas. You will also take charge of the department in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.

We believe in giving all of our guests an exceptional experience, and your part in this will be to ensure that the areas you oversee are superbly clean and beautifully presented. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Housekeeper by supervising a large team of permanent and casual staff including assigning activities, planning rotas and monitoring performance.

 You will have the ability to prioritise, organise and manage a complex and diverse workload and must be able to work under pressure.  You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, and will have experience of working within a housekeeping team in a quality establishment.

The hours of work vary and will include shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential.
