We are currently seeking two part time Senior Lecturers to join the Theatre Department, to cover for a colleague engaged in externally-funded research and engagement activities.  These positions will commence as soon as possible.

As a senior lecturer in the Department for Theatre you will be expected to teach - and in some cases, lead - a range of Undergraduate modules in all years of our BA (Hon) Theatre programme and to contribute to the MA Performance (Theatre/Theatre Collective) programme.  Particular experience and expertise in performer-led theatre and live art making is essential. Specific expertise in body-based and interactive performance would be helpful, as would the ability to lead devising processes in narrative and cultural identity.

You will hold a good relevant undergraduate degree with further professional or academic qualifications at Masters level or equivalent professional experience.  You will demonstrate knowledge of current initiatives underpinning the subject area: specifically in artist-led theatre, live art and a thorough understanding of contemporary performance.  Exceptional communication and organisation skills are essential.
