The Senior Lecturer in Leadership and Management will be required to teach a range of Leadership and Management development and Organisational Design related subjects across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The University continues to deliver high levels of Student Satisfaction and SEMAL's approach to teaching is concentrated on interactive small group sessions.  In parallel with teaching activities the post holders can be expected to contribute to the delivery of SEMAL's consultancy/knowledge exchange activities, including the growing portfolio of professional development programmes for practicing managers.

A good relevant degree and related professional or academic qualifications are required at Masters level, together with a knowledge of current initiatives within the subject area.  The successful applicant will demonstrate how their skills and experience supports the enrichment of the student experience and will contribute to the development of third stream income generation initiatives and a culture of innovation and enterprise.

Function of the Post:                                          

The post holder will be required to teach a range of Leadership and Management and Organisational Design related subjects across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to support the School's academic provision, as agreed with the Head of the SEMAL.  In addition to teaching within the core discipline, monitoring student performance, and giving appropriate feedback and guidance, the post holder will be required to supervise student projects, and may also be required to contribute to the wider generic skills based modules that are provided as part of the study programme.
