We are currently seeking a Dance Technician to provide full technical support and advice to Dance students and staff, including the day to day operation of a small studio/theatre venue and associated equipment.

You will work with and advise student choreographers on design and transfer of scenography for touring programmes, including modification to ensure 'fit' at various external venues.   Manage the set up and execution of all media aspects of a live performance, as well as managing a team of students to assist the smooth running of performances.

You will also assist the senior technician ordering, installation, maintenance and guardianship of existing and new equipment; the registration of students and ongoing staff induction sessions.

The post holder will demonstrate a working knowledge of stage management, electrical maintenance, lighting design and AV (audio visual equipment) operation; Video recording and editing skills are essential. You must be prepared to drive a minibus (training will be available if required)
