We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher of Science from January 2015 to plan and deliver high quality engaging and challenging teaching and learning across the full ability and age range of students, ensuring all students make rapid and sustained progress. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an imaginative, creative and inspiring teacher to work in a successful Science Department. You must be able to demonstrate talent, interpersonal skills and a range of teaching strategies required to inspire and motivate pupils and other colleagues in the Department. We are looking for an adventurous, engaging and passionate practitioner who brings Science to life both within and outside the classroom.

The person appointed will be a member of an active forward thinking Department. The Science Department has four full time teachers and is well served by two full time technicians, who together create an extremely positive learning culture based upon high expectations, the building of scientific learning skills and a huge enthusiasm for the subject. The department is housed in purpose built accommodation with four fully refurbished wet labs with access to a dry lab as well.
