An opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Accounting team within Corporate Finance based in our Chichester offices. Reporting into the Financial Accountant the main requirements of this position will consist of the reconciliation, reporting and administration of all financial issues relating to major balance sheet accounts and intercompany accounts. As well as the development of process improvements and assisting the Financial Accountant in meeting financial reporting deadlines including the calculation and entry of month end Accruals and Prepayments.

The successful candidate will support the Financial Accountant and the wider Finance department in initiatives and projects as well as compliance with SOXA controls. This position role has the potential to develop further as experience is gained.

Selection criteria

• Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA (e.g. studying at Managerial level CIMA)
• Previous experience in Financial accounts in a busy team is essential
• Advanced Knowledge of Excel
• You will be able to use technology to communicate efficiently and effectively
• Ability to multi task, prioritise and manage own time with minimal guidance is essential
• Ability to speak German would be advantageous
