Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join one of our prestigious clients based in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a stable and experienced team.

The Role:

* Process and file purchase ledger invoices, ensuring correct authorisation from budget holders
* Provide Group Management Accountant with accurate estimates of payment run totals to assist with cashflow projections
* Ensure invoices that include a prepayment element are correctly deferred into the relevant months
* Collate, process and post purchase ledger payment runs, and any additional ad-hoc payment requirements during the month
* Reconcile supplier statements, resolving queries and liaising with suppliers and internal departments
* Ensure all inter-company transactions are completed and reconciled within the relevant companies
* Reconcile the Purchase Ledger Control, Inter-Company, Suspense, Deferrals and Creditors Accounts
* Provide monthly information regarding purchase invoice accruals as required
* Maintain up-to-date records relating to Fixed Assets, Legal & Professional Fees and Subscriptions & Donations for statutory reporting
* Assist the Group Management Accountant with preparation of information for statutory accounts
* Ad hoc duties as requested by the Financial Controller

The Ideal Candidate:

* Proven relevant experience of the purchase ledger function
* Positive and friendly with a "can do attitude"
* Ability to prioritise and organise
