We are looking for a well-motivated person to work with customers, volunteers, help with enquiries and with the ability to supervise a team.
With experience of working in a customer care environment, you will enjoy working with library customers and have excellent communication and organisational skills. The role involves dealing with issues passed on by colleagues assisting customers to use self service, tidying and shelving books and other library/clerical duties.
You will be computer literate and have the ability to use your initiative and work effectively within the team. You will also have active involvement in working with all ages, including children’s work (e.g. Baby Rhyme Time and Story Time).
This is an active role and some lifting will be required

Salary £17,372 - £18,376 per annum
Plus a Saturday enhancement for working 7.6 hours 1 in 2 Saturdays
