Due to continued growth, LMS Group is looking for a new full-time employee to join its ever-growing team. 

LMS is a dynamic and fast-paced Telecoms, Cloud and IT Support provider, based in Barnham, West Sussex. There are good transport links with Barnham train station within a 10 minute walk; free private parking is also available on-site.

The role is predominantly office based at the main HQ of LMS Group, with a mix of some on-site work dealing with client site visits to resolve network/server/desktop issues. You will be primarily working on the helpdesk which involves dealing with telephone, email and remote support; this could be answering simple day to day questions through to handling more complex IT queries.

Using your knowledge, and excellent customer service skills, you will be required to support LMS clients through their IT issue(s), passing queries to a higher level of support when required. You will also be involved in supporting the general infrastructures of our clients, carrying out routine maintenance and also planned upgrades such as server and large-scale IT installations/replacements (training is provided).

Preferred Skills/Understanding Required:-

• Previous experience in an IT Support role is preferable, though not essential. A sound, comprehensive understanding of IT and IT terminology

• Basic Windows 2003/2008/2012 server knowledge

• Active directory management

• A good understanding of firewalls, routers, switches etc

• Networking: DHCP & DNS, Group Policy, AD

• Good all round PC knowledge, ideally Windows 7 onwards

We are seeking someone who is a fast learner, keen and enthusiastic to pursue an IT career within a fast-pace and fast-growth company. A strong work ethic, you will be flexible and enjoy working in a busy environment that is fun, but serious about what it does.  An IT qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates should have a background and/or previous IT experience or have studied IT at college/university.
