You will work as part of a team based within a vibrant day service for adults with learning disabilities in Chichester. At Wrenford, our key aims are to support people with high levels of dependency or complex needs and enable every customer to be engaged in their local community to the best of their ability. For some customers this could be through a time-limited programme of targeted support to build confidence and help develop skills for independent living. You will be responsible for supporting customers with personal care and eating and drinking, within individual’s guidelines and risk assessments. The purpose of this role is to encourage and stimulate customers, through the provision of outcome based care, that promotes independence, community engagement, enables them to develop and/or maintain daily living skills and to attend to their physical, social, mental and emotional needs, ensuring comfort, safety and wellbeing. We are very proud of our links with the local community through our Starburst Arts Project, using art, drama, and communication and sensory within many sessions to develop customers ‘skills and confidence. You will be required to run sessions, and carry out escort duties. A D1 driving license would be desirable. 

Salary 15,207 to 15,941 Permanent, Full time Based in Chichester 37 hours per week Interview date: 21st April
