The Department of History and Politics at the University of Chichester invites applications for Associate Lecturers to teach the following modules in the coming academic year (2015/16):     

• Imagined Communities:Regionalism in Modern European History (year 1)
•   Russia and Democratisation in Eastern Europe (year 1)
•   Contemporary Security Studies (year 2)
•   Conflict and Violence in the Middle East (year 2)

These modules form an integrative part of our recently and successfully launched Politics Programmes - BA (Hons) Politics and Contemporary History and BSc (Hons) Politics.

Applicants have preferably completed their PhD in a relevant discipline (Politics, International Relations, History and Area Studies), or to be near completion by September 2015. Successful candidates will join a motivated and dynamic team of Historians, Political Scientists and International Relations scholars.
