We are seeking to appoint a full time Advocate for the West Sussex area. This a split role  providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy, working within the framework of the Mental Health Act 1983 to support people to understand their rights under the Act and participate in decisions about their care and treatment and also providing Community Advocacy across the north of West Sussex. The post requires experience of managing a client case load, excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of professionals, whilst retaining independence.
