Practice Manager – Adolescent and Family Resource Service
The Adolescent Family Resource Service is a new service that has brought together social workers and other professionals to provide a flexible and targeted service to vulnerable adolescents who are on the edge of care including those at risk of CSE, missing and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking children. The main focus of this service is to employ specialist skills in family resolution techniques to help resolve family problems and enable the young person to remain living at home.
Passionate about making a difference, you will be responsible for the development of skills and experience in their workforce and managing activities within your operational area. Your role will be to strengthen professionalism so that Children’s Services not only do things ‘right’ but are also ‘doing the right thing’ to help a particular child. You will ensure that the service provides the professional expertise that meets the needs of children, young people and families.
You should model confident risk management and ensure there is high quality supervision, and support.
