Passionate about making a difference, you will bring experience of delivering and implementing change within families, writing evidence-based reports and effectively supporting others. Your degree or equivalent qualification in social work will be matched by a flair for engaging with children, young people and families. Plus, as you will be travelling across the county, you will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

We are expanding our social work teams so now have vacancies in the following service areas:

Contact, Assessment and Intervention (Worthing or Crawley) – undertaking Child and Family Assessments, S.47 inquiries and intervention and planning for Children in Need

Family Support and Protection (Worthing, Bognor or Horsham) – working with longer term Children in Need and children subject to Child Protection plans

Children Looked After (Horsham or Worthing) - working with children to achieve and maintain permanence, including permanency and care planning, family proceedings and preparation for children leaving care
