Community Rail Development Manager (Part Time, 21 hours per week)
£28,145 per annum (pro rata salary of £16,887)
Based at Lewes Station and home working

A motivated and competent individual is required for this interesting, challenging and exciting role.

Sussex Community Rail Partnership Ltd (SCRP) works to reconnect the community with its railway, enhance station environments and promote public transport modal shift.

SCRP seeks to employ a Community Rail Development Manager (CRDM) to work with the existing Staff, Partners and Stakeholder. The CRDM would be responsible for the management of SCRP staff, supporting the business objectives of the SCRP and its partners, marketing and communication, gaining funding, creating projects which address the partnerships’ aims and objectives. The post holder would report the SCRP Board on a regular basis.

This part time role can be joined with the part time (14 hours a week) role of Seaford to Brighton Community Rail Officer, which require many of the same skills and allows the job holder to explore more local partnership projects, working with schools and young people and support the local community in achieving their community rail action plan. This will give a salary for the combined post of £25,052.40 per annum for a 35 hour week.

Seaford to Brighton Community Rail Officer (Part Time, 14 hours per week)
£20,413.50 per annum (pro rata salary of £8165.40)

We require a highly driven person with excellent management and communication skills, a proven track record in a small complex organisation with a geographically disperse staff and partner set, experience of community engagement, grant applications and public transport.

There will be some evening and weekend work required. We are happy to discuss flexible working hours.
