We have an exciting opportunity to support the Chief Executive for WSCC. This is a high profile role and a great opportunity for you to get involved with the inner workings of the Council. Responsible for ensuring the co-ordination and effective administration of all aspects of the Chief Executive’s Office, this role will provide the highest level of support, commitment and assistance. This role will also include coordinating/supporting other administrative staff within the office.

To support the effective running of the Chief Executive’s Office, this role will involve liaising with the political leadership office, departmental management teams and partner organisations as required. Relationship management and effective communication are therefore keys skills, as are the ability to ensure all duties are undertaken with due regard for political sensitivity, confidentiality and discretion.

This role will operate at a strategic level and will safeguard and positively promote the image of WSCC and the Chief Executive’s Office, by providing a responsive, professional and reliable service, with administration and communication into and out of the office managed to the highest standards.

In addition to managing the office, this role will undertake a range of individual pieces of work/projects for the Chief Executive.
