An exciting opportunity has arisen at Adult Care Point 2 (ACP2) access and duty team for a Senior Social Work Practitioner. If you enjoy working as part of a fast pace, dedicated team, committed to delivering a professional responsive service at the front door, this post has recently become available.

Your key role will be providing the team with professional supervision, advice and guidance, enabling staff to undertake initial Care Act telephone assessments of need. Triaging incoming referrals, including needs led assessment and presenting safeguard enquiries, will be your key responsibility. Following identification of risk to People in need, allocating cases to the team will form part of your daily duties. Professionally managing complex duty referrals and ensuring high quality assessments are undertaken are a key responsibility for the ACP2 Senior Practitioner Social Worker.

Line management support and Professional supervision as well as career progression, learning and development opportunities, are a key offer to applicants. This role offers excellent experience to Social Workers wishing to develop this key area of practice.
