If you are an experienced Supervisor or Department Leader with experience of running a successful team within a FMCG environment ideally in Agriculture, Horticulture or Food Production, we are seeking a Despatch Department Leader for our client based Chichester area.

You will be working in the packing operation of a Finishing Centre on an early or late shift. This will involve the overseeing of over 20,000 customer orders onto 1,400 trolleys with up to 40 staff. To assist you, you will have up to 3 Section Leaders working for you.

The role is to receive finished customer products from the production lines and to pack the product. You will ensure the quality of the produce and their presentation to the highest standard and be responsible for the accuracy of the packing meeting set deadlines.

This position will offer variety, no two days will be the same therefore flexibility will be essential, you will have previously worked in a supervisory role in a fast moving production or packing environment and be able to work to, drive forward to productivity targets through your team of Section Leaders therefore excellent management experience is essential.

Good spoken and written English is important along with a good level of numeracy.

Salary being offered for this position is £22,000 to £23,700, hours will be on average around 39 hours a week over the year.
