Aspire Sussex Ltd plans, promotes and delivers vibrant adult education across Sussex, enabling people to achieve their aspirations. Aspire Sussex Ltd is developing its provision of Teaching and Learning courses across West Sussex. We are specifically looking for Tutors and Assessors to deliver the following courses: • Tutors and Assessors for ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools’ - Crawley • Tutors for Level 2 ‘Information, Advice and Guidance’ • Tutors for Level 1 ‘Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care’ (from September 2017) This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives by supporting our students to gain accredited qualifications while also progressing them towards employment. These courses will be delivered to adults aged 19 years and over. Applicants should have a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification along with relevant experience in the delivery and assessment of accredited qualifications. An Assessing qualification is also desirable (A1 or equivalent). In addition applicants will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead, develop and motivate adult students to achieve their learning goals. The successful candidate will be able to adapt teaching and learning strategies and select resources as appropriate in order to meet student needs. The ability to demonstrate relevant ICT skills including the use of Microsoft Office, E-mail and Internet, plus excellent record keeping skills will also be needed.
