Our client is a national company specialising in the manufacture and supply of products for the home improvement industry. They have recently opened a Southern office and are growing and winning market share by supplying excellent products and first rate service.

Covering the Southern region (which will include the South East and South West) the purpose of this role is to grow the business further by targeting new business opportunities, pursuing potential clients with professionalism and determination in a highly competitive market. You will also need to develop sales from existing clients, building strong relationships in order to grow the business and ensuring customers receive all of the product and technical support that they need. In addition, you will be exploring and developing new distribution channels and implementing sales and marketing plans.

At least 2 years of working in a field based role is preferred, as is experience in the window, builders merchants or construction industry. You will need to be IT literate, have a demonstrable track record in sales and be goal orientated and commercially minded with excellent negotiation skills.

A company car, or car allowance, is supplied and there will also be a performance related bonus.
