FMP Global is a fast growing domestic and international payroll and software company. We are forward thinking, fast paced company looking to grow its existing client base.

 

We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, dedicated individual to work in partnership with our in house sales team as Channel Development Manager. You will be working mainly on International channels but with a small focus on domestic with a view to build this up.

 

Your role would be focused on managing the existing channels already within FMP and maximising Lead Generation as well as developing new channels and strategies moving forward.

 

This position can be based out of either our Head Office in Chichester or our office in Gatwick with the option of working from home when and if required.

 

Previous Channel manager experience is desirable but not essential for this role but you must have excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills.

Job Specification

Job Title: Channel Development Manager

Reporting to: Group Sales and Marketing Director

Responsibilities: Creating Channel opportunities for FMP Group (Domestic Sales) to generate leads into the business, maintaining productivity of existing channels into the business. Agreeing mutually beneficial commission plans for channels in order to maximise profit of the deals and give the channel income/revenue streams.           

 Detailed Responsibilities

  • Managing existing channels effectively, making sure that the lead generation is at a maximum.
  • Managing the commercial agreements with existing and new channels, making sure that they remain attractive to both parties.
  • Managing and developing the channel strategy moving forward.
  • Managing and agreeing the monthly commission payments with the finance team, ensuring that reporting to and from channel partners is delivered.
  • Developing new channels in line with the strategy and business plan.
  • Supply Monthly Board packs with update on and progress with the channels.
  • Attend monthly sales meeting to feedback progress on channels to Sales and Marketing.
  • Liaise with marketing department for joint projects and existing support with channel productivity.
  • Ensuring the business follows its core values.
  • Home working permissible where appropriate.
  • Carrying out all and any other activities as laid down by the Managing Director.

Targets

The target is based on the business plan operating model.

  • Opening 2 channels per month, with a lead generation of 4 per channel per month
  • 8 leads per month per channel manager per month

 Note new channel may mean revitalising an existing channel, focus is on number of leads per month

 Additional Requirements 

  • Home working permissible where appropriate.
  • You will be required to travel.
  • You may be required to stay overnight.
