Marjorie Cobby House is looking for a committed Registered Manager to lead our responsive Resource Centre in the heart of Selsey. All referrals into the service are temporary, with a maximum stay of 12 weeks.

Referrals into the service come via the hospital (Acute and Community) One Call, Out of Hours and / or Community Social Work Teams. Each referral route has a different focus for the stay.

The reablement service offers support and encouragement for people who want to build their confidence to be able to continue to live at home; the service includes physiotherapy and occupational therapy, using an outcome focussed support plan.

The Community Transfer Beds provides support to people to step down from the Community Hospital and make the transition back to home. The emergency placement beds are required to respond to Adult Services Out of Hours to ensure a place of safety, facilitating the space for an in depth assessment of individual requirements for care and support. There are also respite breaks available for both the person accessing the service and the Carer.

This is an exciting time for Marjorie Cobby House, as there are plans to open the remaining 9 beds, bringing the service to capacity (34 beds); the new Registered Manager will be pivotal in developing the service, innovating and facilitating to enable Marjorie Cobby House to reach its full potential.
