An opportunity has arisen for a Supplies Officer to work in the Fleet and Operational Stores located at Power Place on Terminus Road, Chichester.

A range of stock items are kept on site to assist with the efficient functioning of a busy workshop and to ensure that the wider Fire and Rescue Service is fully equipped to respond and attend to incidents.

The role-holder will be responsible for:
- looking after the Goods-In/out function for the building;
- ensuring the Stores are kept clean and tidy;
- picking and dispatching orders in a timely way;
- monitoring stock levels and;
- placing orders with suppliers for parts and accessories.

Candidates for this position will have experience of maintaining a Stores or working in this type of environment and posses a working knowledge of vehicle parts and equipment.
