In recognition of the success within the University and the Faculty of Technology, the Schools of Engineering and Civil Engineering and Surveying are looking to expand their Technical Support Team.  This is a unique opportunity to start a career in a technical role and be part of this exciting expansion contributing to these diverse and vibrant Schools within the Faculty of Technology. 

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated staff who want to contribute and make a difference in supporting the education of the future generations of engineers.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day operational support and assistance with the maintenance of equipment and materials in support of colleagues and students across both Schools. Training will be provided in all areas of the post, however some experience of engineering would be beneficial.

For these positions, you will need to have experience in an engineering discipline as detailed in each posts job description, be highly organised and have the ability and aptitude to manage or contribute to a high volume of diverse tasks.  You need to be an excellent team player with the ability to use your own initiative. In addition, professionalism, good communication skills, and an ability to organise and prioritise work-load are essential, with a commitment to providing the highest quality of service to students and staff is essential.
