This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to drive the delivery of key activity to reduce crime, protect vulnerable people and build strong, resilient communities. Working in partnership you will take the lead in the design, development, and implementation of innovative and cross cutting initiatives which address the threat, risk and harm caused to individuals and communities from a wide range of crime types.
As Lead Professional you will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of a range of key work-streams within the County Community Safety Agreement and for the regular reporting of progress to the Safer West Sussex Partnership Executive Board.
We are looking for an individual with an excellent knowledge and understanding of current community safety and criminal justice issues and who is experienced in working with a range of partners to design and deliver intelligence-led projects and interventions at a local level.
You will work closely with colleagues from District and Borough Community Safety Partnerships to implement national policy and legislative requirements and reduce duplication of effort in relation to shared objectives within localities.
The post will be based at County Hall, Chichester but will be required to work flexibly at different partner locations across the County.
