You will be experienced and qualified in varied vehicles and plant. You must be customer focused, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, communicating effectively with colleagues, managers and staff, both internally and externally. To manage the day to day compliance of the maintained fleet and to assist with the development and delivery of the fleet strategy to ensure that Brighton & Hove City Council is providing a fleet that is fit for purpose, is maintained in a cost effective manner and meets operational and customer needs. Generating new business, whilst keeping existing customers satisfied is key, for this position. Another aspect of this position is to audit the internal processes, ensuring compliance to the organisations operation procedures and the ‘O’ licence requirements.
