We are looking for support workers, full and part-time and also for 6 month maternity cover, to join our friendly team at our Supported Living Service in Bognor Regis.
 
People we support live in their own flats in the community and we help them manage their day-to-day lives and realise their dreams. People have varied abilities; most need support with cooking, cleaning, managing their home and personal support including medication and personal care. Some need behavioural support.   We actively encourage people to pursue their dreams, and to try out new experiences, and we would welcome anyone with a sense of adventure, enthusiasm, and lots of passion to apply. Please note that living an 'ordinary' life means being able to go out and stay out late such as visiting pubs, clubs, trips to the theatre, cinema etc as such shift times will vary.
 
In addition to working as part of the wider team we are keen to recruit people who have previous experience of working with people with autism / complex health needs. 'H' lives at Milton Lodge and has a dedicated team to support her. H is autistic and diabetic. H loves going out in her car so being a driver is essential as H will go out most days. H needs staff that can work with her within her existing routines but also work in a planned and co-ordinated way to broaden her experiences and introduce new opportunities.
 
We are seeking people who are:

Over the age of 18, flexible to work on a rota covering early mornings, day and evening shifts, alternate weekends and sleep-in shifts.
 
Salary in range of £16,290.38 - £20,928.27
(based on 37.5 hours per week but pro rata if part-time and dependent on skills and experience)
