Your new job

As an Assistant Tax Manager you will be involved in completing a variety of technical research to a high standard. Liaising with HMRC regarding clearance applications and enquiries, you will also be responsible for preparing calculations, tax returns and providing advisory support to clients. The role is mixed in its focus between Private Client and Corporate, with a slight bias towards Corporate Tax. In your managerial capacity, you will also be expected to assist junior team members through regular reviewing and appraisals.

About you

You must be ACA/ACCA or ATT qualified with a desire to study towards CTA. You will have experience of Corporate Tax and it is seen as beneficial to have past experience of other areas of tax. You will currently be working within an Accountancy Practice, either within a dedicated tax team or in an accounts/audit team but able to demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in tax. You will possess strong oral and written communication with an analytical approach to working. As Assistant Tax Manager, you will be able to show excellent team work and organisation as well as strong IT skills.

Salary

£35,000 alongside CTA study support package.
