As a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Education your role will be to contribute to three key activities: teaching, research and income generation. With proven expertise in teaching secondary History, you will play a full and active part in the range of activities that ensure high quality teaching and learning within the course and provide the academic support required to prepare the teachers of tomorrow.
You must have a proven and successful track record in teaching in higher education and/or secondary schools. You should have a broad range of skills to be able to demonstrate innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for student teachers at postgraduate level. In addition you may contribute to the delivery of appropriate modules on our MA Education programme. You will have demonstrable skills to show that you will be committed in ensuring that our student teachers are well supported and enjoy their experience with us.
