The role

This is an excellent career opportunity for a role holder with ambition and drive to work in a busy and varied Higher Education environment. It is essential you have a proven track record of supporting a range of Human Resource matters in a large and complex organisation.


Providing a helpful, responsive, professional, customer-focused service, you will work within a small and agile Human Resources and Professional Development team to promote the University''s People Strategy agenda. Experienced in employee engagement and wellbeing will be a distinct advantage, along with excellent people skills and a thorough understanding of employment law. You will contribute fully to operational and transactional HR processes and procedures, as well as using your knowledge and experience to advise on a broad range of people management issues, including formal employee relations policies and procedures.


What you will bring to the role

Professionally qualified (or equivalent), this role would suit an individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, significant experience of working successfully with teams of staff and managers at all levels. We will welcome your ability to work in a timely manner to a consistently high standard and to adapt to new and changing circumstances.
