Channel Content Marketing Specialist

The Content Specialist will be responsible for developing, owning and delivering the companies content strategy whilst working with all colleagues to improve the presence online.

Responsibilities

  • Create regular, original, innovative and engaging content that appeals directly to the core demographic of each audience channel and is across all key content types including copywriting, video production and the creation of design assets such as info graphics
  • Develop content channels with techniques to engage our audiences, increase brand awareness and build an engaged community of followers
  • Ensure all content is on brand and to tone of voice, keeping up-to-date with the latest digital and technological developments to understand how they could best work
  • Drive the content calendar
  • Facilitate data collection and content generation
  • Lead the development and curation of high quality content to support our owned, earned and paid media and continually build on the brand story
  • Monitor and track performance of all content activity, set benchmarks
  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across the Group to co-ordinate central content and social marketing plan

Experience

  • At least 3 years' relevant experience with a strong background in creating online/digital content, copywriting and social content creation
  • Excellent copywriting and 'storytelling' skills
  • Practical experience of using social media
  • Highly organised and hands-on approach and collaborative working style
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a high-growth, fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Analytical and data-driven mind-set – ability to use numbers and statistics to make decisions
  • Familiar with evaluating emerging technologies and keeping up to date with the latest social trends and best practices
  • Innovative thinker with a creative flair; ability to adapt your style to different target audiences or products
  • Passionate about customers and customer delights
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) with at least an intermediate level of Excel

Desirable:

  • Public speaking experience, such as presentations, panels, launches, etc.
  • Comfortable on camera (opportunity to be Brand Ambassador in video and social)
  • B2B experience in SAAS or Professional Services
  • IDM/CIM qualification preferred
