The Goodwood Hotel is all about creating amazing guest experiences in a beautiful setting. We’re passionate about driving growth and making the most of our rooms and event spaces and we’re looking for someone to help us do just that.
In this key role, you’ll be the go-to person for managing pricing, inventory, and bookings across all channels to hit our revenue goals. You’ll lead the Reservations team and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Events to make sure we’re always maximising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving average room rate, occupancy and RevPAR to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Achieve rooms budget goals through effective rate and inventory management
- Build and update rates in Protel, including new packages, 24-hour supplements, and cottage rates
- Oversee pre-arrival communication and upsell programs to maximise revenue opportunities
- Monitor and manage rate availability in Protel, opening and closing rates as required
- Prepare forecasts and participate in hotel forecast meetings to support business planning
- Manage the Reservations team, ensuring high standards of performance and guest service
What We're Looking For: - Previous experience with increasing hospitality sales
- Knowledge of a distribution channel, reservation system and GDS management
- Proven track record of motivating and leading a team
- Knowledge of IVvy is desirable
