We have a fantastic opportunity which could be perfect for someone looking to start their career as an Electrician. This could potentially be the most diverse and varied Electrician job you'll find!

As our Maintenance Electrician, you'll be joining a close-knit team based in the grounds of Goodwood House. You'll be responsible for ensuring the estate’s electrical infrastructure is maintained in good, safe and efficient working order and is fully compliant with all relevant regulations and codes of practice. You could be working at any one of the sites across our 12,000 acre estate, including our Farm, Hotel, Racecourse or Aerodrome, amongst others.

You’ll be hands on, with varied days - you could be carrying out electrical remedial repairs across a range of estate buildings one day, then supporting with temporary electrical installations at our world-famous events, like Festival of Speed.

You’ll be self-motivated with a passion for what you do and a "can do" attitude. You’ll also be able to demonstrate a methodical and disciplined approach to all aspects of your work, with the flexibility to work outside of normal hours when required.

What you'll have:

• Proven and broad practical experience as an Electrician covering domestic, commercial and industrial installations, repairs and testing.
• City & Guilds 2357 Level 3 qualification
• C&G 18^th Edition
• Availability to be on-call at least 18 weeks per year (including every 3rd weekend)

Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential.
