Institute of Arts and Humanities
Join our growing academic team, based at the Chichester campus. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent teaching methods, with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that are student-centred, inclusive and flexible. You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational.
The Law provision at the University of Chichester consists of LLB Law, Law with Criminology and Law with International Relations. From September 2022 we will also be offering a Law Conversion LLM with SQE preparation. The appointed postholder will have a sound understanding of law in a number of areas, developing content and teaching across a range of subjects which could include undergraduate Land Law, Equity and Trusts, Company Law and International Environmental Law, and a range of foundation of legal knowledge subjects at Masters level for the new conversion course.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience to support high quality learning and teaching, experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to students on the law programme.
Ideally this is a full-time position, but part time may be considered for the right candidates.
