Food Services Assistant

CONTRACT TYPE   Permanent – Full & Part time roles available

SALARY                   £11.10 per hour (raising to £11.44 from April 2024)

Part Time:

14 hours per week / 2 days over 7

21 hours per week / 3 days over 7

28 hours per week / 4 days over 7

Straight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Shifts vary between 07:00–14:00, 14:00–21:00, 09:00–16:00, 10:00–17:00, 10:00–16:00, 16:00–23:00 (Bar & Events)

West Dean has several food service outlets, providing food and refreshments to students and visitors throughout the year, including, the tea rooms, the college dining room and the gardens restaurant.

The Person

We are looking for customer focused and enthusiastic people to join and build on our existing teams across the College campus, providing exceptional front of house service for all our students and customers.  Individual on the job training will be provided, although any previous customer-facing and barista experience would be advantageous.
