The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join MotorSport Vision's (MSV) project team on the landmark redevelopment of Donington Hall. MSV is undertaking a magnificent, multi-million-pound renovation of this 1790 Grade II* listed property, transforming it into a luxurious 49-bedroom hotel that restores its historic connection with Donington Park motor racing circuit.

The Procurement Coordinator will play a key role throughout the project, supporting procurement across both the construction and hotel fit-out phases. Initially, the focus will be on procuring subcontract packages, construction materials and specialist heritage products to support the live build programme. As the project progresses into the fit-out stage, responsibilities will transition to coordinating the procurement of the complete FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) package, working closely with the project team and interior designers to deliver the hotel to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Procurement

  • Support the procurement of subcontract packages and construction materials in line with the project build programme
  • Obtain, compare and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and material suppliers, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality and heritage requirements
  • Assist with negotiating pricing and lead times with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Source specialist and long-lead materials appropriate for a Grade II* listed restoration project
  • Track procurement activities against programme milestones, highlighting risks to cost or delivery at an early stage.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, orders, subcontract packages, variations and procurement documentation.

FF&E and OS&E Procurement

  • Support procurement of the full FF&E and OS&E package in accordance with the project design specifications
  • Raise and track purchase orders while maintaining accurate procurement schedules and trackers
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to confirm pricing, lead times and product availability
  • Monitor order progress and proactively chase deliveries to maintain project timelines
  • Maintain procurement budgets and report cost variances to the project team

General Responsibilities

  • Keep procurement documentation, supplier information, specifications and records accurate and up to date.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, designers and project stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings and site visits as required
  • Provide administrative support to ensure procurement processes remain organised, compliant and efficient
  • Contribute proactively to solving procurement challenges and maintaining programme momentum

Requirements of the Procurement Coordinator

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, buying or supply chain within construction, fit-out, hospitality, interiors or capital projects.
  • Understanding of subcontractor procurement, supplier quotation comparison and purchasing processes.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and schedules would be desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence communicating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking orders, procurement schedules and budgets
  • Familiarity with FF&E and/or OS&E procurement for luxury hotels, hospitality or high-end residential developments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

In return, Donington Hall offers

  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • Up to 31 days' holiday (including Bank Holidays).
  • Access to the MSV Hub, providing discounts at hundreds of retailers across the UK.
  • Workplace pension.
  • The opportunity to play a key role in delivering a flagship heritage hotel development.

Please note that only candidates with an up-to-date CV and covering letter will be considered.

Donington Hall reserves the right to close this vacancy early should sufficient suitable applications be received.
